"I booked this accommodation as my parents where to meet a coach early on Sunday morning for a tranfer to Southampton for a cruise, due to the freezing weather travelling early in the morning was not an option, this made the Days Inn an excellent choice - They made the ship OK and were very happy with their first days/nights holiday at Woodall Service Station! before a half World Cruise"
Excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy accommodation
Pedrestrian access to the service station was a little challenging for elderly guests across the Truck park, high curbs and no defined route.

"Good value for money, did exactly what was needed. "
Room larger and better equiped than some. Staff helpful. Situation of hotel is nice and quiet, even though it faces the garage/lorry park.
No hot water for shower plus bath v small. Not ideal when its -3 degrees outside! Also, path to main service station was not gritted/salted, despite the snow and freezing temperatures. Not a big issue but it all counts.

Clear directions about how to find the eating facilities in the dark would be helpful

"I would recommend Days Inn to friends. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was a nice size with a very comfortable bed. It was nice and quiet as well."
Staff were very helpful, even though it was quite late at night when we arrived and early when we checked out. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were warm and the tea and coffee facilities were well stocked.
The hair dryer in the room wasn't very good but it wasn't a problem.

"If it wasn't for the terrible food I would have enjoyed it."
Larege room, well furnished and clean
Had food I couldn't eat, pizza base was tough and was not offered an alternative. Breakfast was greasy.

"Excellent continental breakfast. Excellent price for b&b. Quiet and relaxing."
Changed rooms immediately on receptionist seeing allocated room had not been serviced properly after last visitor. New room fine.
Difficult to find. Poor quality eating outlet at service station

"If the heating had been working it would have been a perfectly reasonable stay. It's not the Ritz by any means but if you are after a well priced hotel that's clean and has friendly staff then it's not a bad place. "
Clean. Freeview TV most hotels very limited selection. Staff friendly.
Absolutely freezing cold; heating not working.

"A comfortable overnight stay to break up a long journey"
Friendly helpful staff, breakfast excellent. Duty manager very helpful in pointing us towards service road to cross motorway.
We did not realise hotel was on southbound M1 we were northbound and did not think to check when booking!until we got to services, we managed to find hotel on foot. Not a "bad" problem, but some guidance/information in the services would have been reassuring.

"The staff were very helpful and it was reassuring to find a hotel that happily accepts dogs."
stayed on August 11, 2009
"For a one night stop over the room was excellent and good value for money and I would highly reccommend it. It was exceptionally quiet given its location next to the M1 and also had suprisingly beautiful views over rolling fields and a lake - you wouldn't know you were right next to a major motorway! However, it didn't have a bar fridge or in-room safe, which woud have been useful had we been staying for a longer period of time."
The receptionist was fantastic - she was very welcoming and helpful and had local knowledge which she was happy to share with us. The room was comfortable though not entirely clean see remarks below.
The room wasn't entirely clean - marks on the sofa and blanket when we arrived and the toilet seat wasn't wholly clean underneath.

"Would stay again and would recommend it to someone else."
Stayed in lots of travel lodges etc. Found this clean, smelled nice as you walked through corridor. Staff at reception helpful, polite, welcoming.
No bad points really, Found it a bit hard to find on the Tom Tom! Maybe that was because we didn't approach it from the Motorway.

nice friendly staff
room smelt of stale cigarettes even though it was a no smoking room

"Excellent."
Staff made us very welcome. The breakfast was well balanced and more than adequate for our onward journey.
We were travelling North and had some difficulty as there is inadequate direction signs to Days Inn via the slip roads and underpass. A local Sheffield Man described the access roads as "Potholes from Hell". We fully concur. The Hotel had no bad points that we could find.

"Comfortable"
Clean & comfortable. Quiet even though it is a motorway service area. Great having breakfast brought to your room. Very convenient place to stay.
Two comfortable chairs would have been nice.

"Good. Comfortable, perfect for an overnight stay."
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was pleasant and clean and surprising no noise given the proximity to the Motorway.
It was not obvious how to turn on the TV. Access to the main cafe at the services was not straightforward as it meant crossing the road by the petrol station.
stayed on June 17, 2009
Hotel on motorway, so didn't have to detour from our travel route. Let the dog's stay in rooms. Grass area outside to exercise the dogs. Pub a short walk away, which also accommodated the dogs. Good value for money too!
