"For the price very good value for money!"
Location, price, cleanliness
The receptionist had two jobs, reception at hotel, and cashier in petrol station adjacent to hotel, delaying check in process. My room was very close to fans/ aircon units that were very noisey

"Very, very good"
It does what it says on the tin!!
Only glaring 'fault' was mud left by some 'nice' guest! on the stairs and not cleaned up between 19.00 and 08.00 the nest day

"The hotel was excellent value for money. Our main reason for booking was as an overnight stop on a long journey and this hotel more than fulfilled all our needs."
The room was clean, quite spacious, and was tastefully decorated. It was equipped as described on the website. It was good to see the environmentally friendly light system which are operated by the keycard and are therefore automatically switched off when this is removed. Very convenient to have the 24 hour shop available on site, we also made use of the bar and restaurant. The hotel receptionists were both friendly, polite and helpful.

"Ok, but doubt I will stay again until either they get a more comfortable second bed arrangement - re twin room option!"
clean
Hated the Sofabed- had to make it up ourselves. Then ended up with back ache next day for trying to sleep on it. Worst night sleep i've had for ages.

"Visitor hotels are preferable because of the poor deal on the Full English Breakfast, but it was well sound proofed so had a good sleep in a comfortable bed in spite of any local traffic noisw which we did not hear, and shower and washing facilities were very clean and cosy. it is convenient for M1, A50/500 or M6 networks."
room was lovely and clean and spacious. shower clean and at right temperature, very quiet considering closeness to motorway. Bed very comfortable. good TV reception
we were very disappointed that the £7.95 for a full English Breakfast did not actually include cereal, fruit juice, extra tea or coffee or extra toast. All the of the hotels we have stayed in have included a wide choice of things such as cereals etc in the price for full English Breakfast, so this was not truly a full breakfast. We would also have preferred to have had breakfast within the hotel itself rather than in the Eat In opposite. we had to wait quite a while for member of staff to come to reception desk in order to check in at 9.40pm in the evening

"ACCEPTABLE ALTERNATIVE TO OTHER MOTORWAY HOTEL CHAINS, THIS WAS AN "EXECUTIVE" SITE SO WOULD RESERVE OPINION UNTIL OTHER SITES EXPERIENCED."
LIKED THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST BAR FACILITY.
MAIN MEAL MENU LIMITED, NO VEGETARIAN MEAL AVAILABLE. DIFFICULT TO ACCESS MINOR ROADS TO FIND ALTERNATIVE EATING PLACES.CONCURRENT ACCIDENTS ON THE M1 AND A50 MADE ACCESS TO HOTEL SITE IMPOSSIBLE FOR SOME TIME.

"We were on our way to Kent for our annual holiday and needed to break the journey and the hotel was just the ticket for this purpose and I would have no hesitation in staying in a Days Inn again, the hotel is very good value for money."
Very clean, modern facilities and reception staff were very nice and courteous.
Decided to breakfast in the attached services and this turned out to be very expensive, would be nice to pay reasonable prices in these places, instead of being ripped off, but obviously this is not a fault of the hotel.

"A pleasant stay and we would definitely consider staying with Days Inn again."
Staff service was excellent
Lighting system wasn't explained to me before we went to the room which meant I didn't realise that the door card had to be entered before the lighting would work, however the receptionist was very quick to show me how it should be done.

"Had the potential to be a lot better. In comparrison to T/Lodge, Premier Inn and similar including Etap and Campanile, Acor hotels it was a poor experience for me this being the first time I have stayed at a Days Inn hotel. Would have to be more careful if I selected Days Inn again as the 'package' appears unrliable as to what you get / entitled to. Staff were friendly if spoken to but nobody was interested in how things were even when I reported to reception the situation re breakfast. Too many staff having too many meetings get togthers of their own."
Convenient location for the company I was working with
Paid for a cooked breakfast and requested eggs on toast. This was refused and I was told I could have a full cooked breakfast and that was all. Requested a fruit juice drink and I was told tea or coffee only. One slice of toast provided without any spread - poor quality, poor service, poor experience the following day I used my cooked breakfast voucher to have a continental breakfast in the hotel - better than the cooked breakfast experience but only just as bread was dry/stale. Hot weather and I was allocated a room for a two night stay at the front facing the motorway - impossible to hear TV without cranking up the volume and impossible to sleep because of traffic noise throughout the night.

As it was a transit stop for us, the location was convenient.
It can be a bit noisy as it's next to the highway. Would be good if they could include breakfast in the room rate.

Helpful friendly staff.
Breakfast room very cramped. Our group had to eat in 2 sittings. Requested twin room but got a double bed and a very lumpy pull out sofa bed. Only food available in the evening was extremely unhealthy meals in service station next door - and they ran out!!
