"I was staying away because I had been travelling loads and needed to get a good nights sleep. Didn't happen!!!!"

Staff very friendly and room comfortable

Couldn't get in to room to start with and then it turned out somebody else was already staying in the same room as when I got in their personal belongings were there. Moved to room next door. Then woken by Room service banging on the door at 6am and then phoning me to tell me they were banging on the door as someone had put my room number down for 6am breakfast. Then maid banged on door and walked in before I had a chance to shout for her to go away. Although the reception were very apologetic, showing me somebody had written my room number on their breakfast request does not make it OK. Perhaps they shoudl ask for names as well as room numbers to prevent this.

Generally a more than satisfactory stay; a request for a quiet room was given and staff were very polite.

"The accomodation was in good clean order. All facilities were available. It was warm, which is just as well as it snowed whilst I was there. It was very comfortable and for a 4 star hotel very affordable. The staff were very good and bent over backwards to help you in any way possible.I was also able to use my laptop in all rooms. Full marks."

"Sample menus and prices of these in the eating places contained within your hotel would have been nice to know about in advance. I ate each eveing in the Cafe-Bar and found the simple dishes served there to be of very good quality and good value. I did not use the main restaurant but it seemed to offer an excellent menu at a very reasonable price. Everything I had to eat at breakfast and in the evening was very nicely cooked."

"I expect to be accomodated in relation to the fee paid - this expectation was not met. The other facilities and staff at the hotel however are very professional and efficient."

The staff were very efficient and friendly. The food and beverage quality was excellent.

The room Executive room was far too small in relation to the price paid in comparison to equivalent level rooms outside of the UK. I would rate the room and bathroom to a lower standard of hotel.

"I have known this hotel for many years having lived within a few miles in the 1980- 1992 period. It has always been a first class hotel and the present owners a delivering a very good experience."

The room had all the facilities one likes to find in a hotel.

We stayed during the Xmas party season and the bar was open until at least 4AM with the consequence that we were woken up in the early hours of the morning. We were moved to a more remote room for the second night and were not disturbed

The hotel and staff were both excellent,and cannot fault the hotel in anyway what so ever.

Extremely comfortable and quiet room with every facility we could want and very courteous staff. We had rebooked for that very reason after a previous stay.

"Generally it was an enjoyable week end how ever the lack of english speaking personel was a little disapointing in the cafe bar my wife asked for butter and the girl reply chips yes chamber maid was asked about electricty going of her reply I no speak English."

The bathroom door faced onto the bed with a gap of approx 1/2 a metre

"Very pleased overall and good value for money. Easy address to find, the lobby was nice, the greeting good and staff were very helpfull. I have stayed before and would stay again in the future if the situation arises, as long as the furnishing and carpets have been freshened up in the accommodation rooms."

Very quiet and comfortable. Room not overlooked. My wife said the bathroom mirrors were very good. Breakfast and service good.

The room had a feint stale cigarette smell although it was meant to be a no smoking room, probably in the furnishing from the past. Also, there was not enough coffee, biscuits etc for two people. Bathroom was a bit cramped.

"The hotel staff were really helpful and allowed us to check-in very early. Our only disappointment was that I had booked a executive double room but stayed in a standard double room, as got I back to the room late at night and was too tired to change rooms when I realised. I pointed this out in the morning to reception and was only charged accordingly and the staff were very sorry. But other than a simple error we both enjoyed our stay here and we will come back again soon hopefully."

The accommodation was perfectly situated 20 minute train ride to Wembley Stadium

"The hotel is very accessible from London. Its 4 star status is questionable and likely used to justify restaurant prices. I would have liked air conditioning in the executive bedroom rather than a fan. The hotel is advertised as having rooms with individual control heating which is misleading. I would use this hotel again."

Friendly staff, good restaurant food and good leisure facilities.

Not 4 star accommodation. Overall feeling of jaded opulence; chipped and peeling paintwork generally inside and out, and specifically in the swimming pool room and cigarette burns on the bathroom floor and hand basin.

Nice location

The room was very small and did not come with a fridge or mini bar which I expected considering the hotel was rated as four star. Worst still I almost cut myself due to a loose spring coming out of the mattress near the pillow!!!

Our first room was small and above all noisy from some outside engin....so we asked to move and we got a nice larger room and on a quiet side of the hotel.

"Great location.Dining room excellent,loved the decor Breakfast great. Staff pleasant. Facilities in bathroom first class. Great shower,bags of hot water and excellent lighting. Appreciated free internet access. Will definitely stay again. Would like to have been able to have coffee in the lounge area at reception and not the cafe style facility but Hey I can live with that."

Hotel is in great surroundings and very well appointed. Breakfast was excellent!

"The online booking did not happen and I arrived to find I was not booked in. I had to wait for 15 minutes at 03.30am to be let in as the night porter was not there, I even rang the hotel from my mobile they were aware I had a night visit to carry out. My meal was given incorrectly to me. Ideal location for the visit I had to do."
