"Comfortable and good value for money. Would have preferred a full English breakfast to the continental though."

"decent budget style hotel, loved ther downstairs bar - really lively and showed all the sports."

    "Not good. Very disappointed!"

    Staff were friendly.

The room was above a bar and was very noisy. I was disturbed by the noise from the street as the windows are only single pane instead of double glassed. There was very little water pleasure making having a shower nearly impossible. Furniture is in disrepair and the room was not clean.

"Very lcea and great locatino. Staff were great. Bed and noise were bad points. I would redcommend the area to friends but not the hotel."

The staff were so nice and helpfull, the hotel was ideally located and very clean.

The beds were very uncomfortable all 5 of the group agreed with this the walls were very thin, any person walking past our room during the night could be heard quiet clearly and was woken up a lot over the night due to this. The floor was very noisy when people were walking past outside, could hear the fooor creaking, it needs to be strengthened.

"enjoyed the stay and would stay again."

Excellent place to stay, bars are close by.

the hotel only serves continental breakfast and not full english, very poor parking if you don't get there early enough you have to go looking round all the side streets to park your car, but most side streets are residential permit holders only.shower wasn't very good.

"Never again at any Cairn group hotel. A rip off in terms of value."

    Very little.

Poor value for money, small room with inadequate ventilation and generally low quality environment. Another hotel across the road is both far superior and cheaper. No breakfast other than a continental buffet. The corridors smell of sewers and the whole experience was poor. The receptionist although helpful spent more time speaking to her mates on the phone than attending to customers.

    "Good value for money."

Wifi throughout the hotel, bar and restaurant. Hotel was easy to find and in a busy area with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Comfortable bed and clean room.

Noisey room with walls and doors like paper....student pub below hotel which was really busy for a Tuesday night.

"The hotel appears to attract the residence of hen parties and stag parties. It also has a very busy bar which is noisy. Although the room was clean the floor was very noisy and the walls thin and therefore any noise from other rooms was very audible. Room 507."

The floor in the bedroom squeeked with every step. The hotel was very noisy. The reception area and bar area were unclean.

    "See previous notes."

Price, the area and location slightly out of the twin centre but not too far the local area has a nice feel to it. Good accomodation for the price.

As with most hotels in this price category the walls and floors are very thin so you can hear everything.

  • 80% Individual Visitor

More than adequate. Not so sure about the students frequenting the bar areas late in the evening.

No private, guests only bar facilities. No satelite tv.

"This hotel is very over pricedv for the size and quality of the accomodation. Also no breakfast included or available."

    locality

room was very small, classed as a double room and costing 170 pounds for 2 nights room only. Bed was not double sized it was queen sized, room very small indeed.
