    "We would recommend the hotel"

    very friendly staff

    #1. We stayed in a room for disabled and the bed was not safely fixed. That was due to the semi-wooden floor which was too slippery. So it would be helpful to cheque this in your hotels. In our case we just moved the bed to the wall so the wall sort of stabilized the situation.

    As a stop over stay, we were very pleased with our choice. Staff in the pub bar were particularly pleasant and attentive.

    Easy location to get to

    The power went out and although we were given a complimentary drink we could only buy a small sandwich as the kitchen was out of power. We were not really informed about what was happening.

    Polite staff, clean hotel, room good size.

    Breakfast times, especially when asking staff originally that 1 says 930 and the other says 1030 thank god we checked before bedtime! at the weekend are the same for during the week. Checking the hotel info on the TV and that states 1030, now get it right and let all staff know he correct times.It's surposed to be a relaxing weekend break, not when you're forced to get up early. Breakfast food plain. No Tea or Coffee available at the bar unless you go into the pub.

    "Very clean and really easy to access Gatwick airport and to leave your car at the hotel. Good value."

    Lovely big bed, nice room, very clean. We paid for breakfast in the morning and it was well worth the money very nice.

    The heating control did not work in our room. It seemed to be blowing out cold air. We did have a little heater to plug in but did not find it until the morning. It did not spoil our stay though we would still return.

    "The executive suite was well furnished but all of the points highlighted in the bad points summary ruined the experience."

    The rooms were very nice and spacious.

    The TV was erratic, there were insects in the corner of the window ledge and in the bath and the staff were not overly interested in my complaints. Especially the manager

    "Rooms need a bit more care for comfort .. ie better bedding .. wammer bed spreads ..or quilts ..or extras .. pillows smelt unfresh ..so laundry needs care ..but other wise staff very helpful and meals were good and nice . "

    resturant staff were helpfull and service was good , food was hot and well presented .

    romm cold , and walls thin and so noisey due to out side noise from corridor and adjacent rooms .. no water /glass for water in room .. no extra or inadequate bedding ..so cold night sleep for early autumn ..

    Rooms oven-hot first night & fridge-cold the second. Water pressure in shower feeble. "Wet-room" shower lovely design but poor practicality - water goes everywhere. TV channel choice poor in the rooms where it was working: single channel in the other. Whole group checked out in-absentia after 1 night when booked in for 2.

    "I was very impressed that the rooms were quite even though it is the holiday season and they had nightly parties going on downstairs."

    The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very quite.

    Air Conditioning would not produce hot air - fortunately a free standing heater was in the room.

    I was put in a ground floor room which is always disconcerting when you are a lone female. The access to the room was through current building alterations which did not make it very attractive. The curtains were falling off the window rail, the decor was tired.

    "I expected 4 star quality and even though we were upgraded I do not feel we received 4 star quality. Clean, tidy and well decorated room was expected, this was not so although the room was really ok. Expected decent food and not disappointed.The waitresses were of far east extraction and were not familiar with the menu. They were very pleasant however. Did expect very professional uniformed personnel but not so. Early morning call was promptly delivered."

    "Not good. The noise proofing between rooms was non existent and I will not stay at this hotel again."

    The room was a good size.

    Having my car keys taken from me by the reception staff on arrival, and being woken up at 5:30am by other guests. The noise proofing between rooms was non existent and I will not stay at this hotel again.
