Convenience meeting was at Burleigh Court, room was excellent.

Cost was higher than I would have liked, especially when tied to an organised event at Burleigh Court - where profit is also made on the event too. Speaking to others some chose to travel on the day whereas they may have selected to stay overnight if a discounted overnight cost had been available.

The room was very clean and the bed comfy. I don't drink tea or coffee and one of the cleaning ladies went out of her way to make sure I had more hot chocolate sachets which was really nice. Internet access was free which is unusual, it was also fast. Bar staff were friendly and the steak was cooked just as I had asked ' rare side of medium'. There was no wireless connection which was very annoying although there was a cable connection but it was restrictive.The shower drain was blocked so my shower backed up and overflowed so I had to switch it off. Also I am 6ft tall and had to bend to get under the shower. I complained to the staff about the blocked drain but didn't get much of an answer.

continental breakfast a little disappointing - croissant served without any jam, butter, honey, etc - so rather dry and uninteresting.

Room was well equiped and clean

I needed to dry out shoes from being in heavy snow but no heat coming from radiator. Cooked breakfast was poor. In my view sausages were not properly cooked and black pudding was effectively dried out.

The hotel was clean with a good selection of refreshments in the room. The services available in the room were useful.

We were not informed of the opening hours for food. The service in the bar area was poor and we were made to feel as though the staff were being put upon. In the morning we were directed to a table by a very friendly member of staff only to be ignored by the rest and have to ask for a hot drink.

Very loud noise from student residences until 2am. Poor wifi reception in rooms. Breakfast option too expensive business travellers do not all want a massive cooked breakfast and £14 for cereal is ridiculous.

Fairtrade juice machine out of order, can't cooka fillet steak if going to charge £20+ needs to be good. Restaurant cold & too noisy as nothing to break up sound. Wireless code not given on check in, had to go back from bar area.

"Would not recommend or stay there again. Your website makes the hotel look lovely - but, to be honest, it is a glorified Travelodge. Food and drink overpriced. The front desk staff need to work on their 'people manner', found them to be very surly. I did not notice at the time of booking that this was on a University campus, not a very nice location if you are there on leisure rather than business."

The room and bathroom was clean

Found front desk staff unfriendly. Room we were booked into on arrival was very small and stuffy, we arrived on a very hot day, unimpressed that there was no air conditioning in a modern hotel. As room was on the ground floor the windows couldn't open very far. Asked to move to a room on an upper level, which we did, that room was slightly better in size. The food and drinks were overpriced, forcing us to eat out of the hotel. Breakfast was ok, not great for a large hotel used to catering for lots of people. Tea and coffee were luke warm when served.

Excellent presentation, clever design of bedrooms and lecture rooms, good food in the restaurant especially breakfast, good parking facilities.

Room was lovely

Almost cooked by the very hot shower. We did tell reception but it was not fixed. Food in the restaurant was horrible, over cooked and not very healthy. It would be nice to have a lift to get to the first floor. It might not be far to go but when you have luggage it's quite difficult. Also, two payments were taken from my account.

Easy booking, friendly staff, nice room, excellent breakfast. Main reason for staying at hotel was my attendnace at a series of teaching sessions on Loughborough Uni campus.

disappointing evening meal. We both ordered steak pie but the meat was tough and we both left most of it. The waitress commented so I assumed we wouldn't be charged full price but we were. My son was disappointed the internet wasn't working in our room
