Pretty everything was good, the room was clean and well presented. Bathroom likewise. No faults at all with the hotel.
The night club across the street was VERY loud. It didn't stop me from having a restful night but I can imagine for some people it would be impossible to get to sleep.

"very happy with every thing although the bath mat as see above let it down apart from that was pleased with service"

we felt it was bad that in the bath in the bathroom there was no anti slip mat this is very dangerous as we were slipping every where this needs to be addressed before someone has a nasty fall

We have visited the hotel before when it was known as the Citilodge and were pleased to see the same standards as before. In addition it now cost much less for a single night
The heater in our room was broken and only generated cool air no matter what temperature the setting was. Also when we arrived there was only one clerk at the desk who was struggling to keep on top of all the incoming phone calls.

Staff were excellent. Room was clean.
Breakfast was poor quality and had run out of scambled eggs. Could have had biscuits in room to go with tea/coffee.
