lovely spacious room, good air con facility, great shower and bathroom, all clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Lovely lounge in which to relax.

Key card had to be swapped three times and still was temperemental, no Dvd/CD player in room which I was told I would need on my training course,to learn things overnight for next day's presentation so had to provide own no mini fridge no where to put medicine that needed refrigerationor keep drinks cool.

Better than we expected, as it was our first stay at a budget hotel. Room was very adequate, bed comfortable, nice & quiet at night, excellent shower,bathroom a bit small, TV worked fine.Continental breakfast very adequate.

Air Con went wrong on 2nd night, could not switch it off! however we called reception & they came to have a look. Nothing they could do at that late hour but got an automatic reduction of £40...quite efficient we thought.

Found the continental breakfast insufficient, despite having checked with the hotel prior to booking to explain that we were working nightshift it was

staff didnt know what they were doing , i was booked in under the wrong name, no apologies for being kept waiting, staff not confident about immediate surrounding facilities of hotel eg nearest cashpoint etc...

Only one chair in the room. Not easy to find way to the hotel from the main road it stands next to - directions for that very last part of the joirney could be improved!

"In my opinion it was absolutely terrible that we booked the hotel direct and your tried to charge us £99 for the one nigth, we cancelled and booked with another website and managed to get it for £69. I might add that the man that I spoke to on the phone was rather rude. A large group of us we staying in your hotel so we had not choice but to stay however if had been just the two of us we definately would of cancelled as its unbelieveable that you would consider charging £99 direct and £69 through another website. I shall not be recommending booking direct with any hotel to anyone in the future. As for the recommendation question below i would recommend the hotel i would not recommend booking directly."

"Very much liked the friendly efficiency of the staff. The directions to the hotel were not very clear. A more detailed map for drivers would be helpful. Downloaded the POI's for TomTom, but the location was a little out for this hotel. Liked the free parking facilities which could have been emphasised more as this is a facility not provided by all city hotels. Would be very happy to use this hotel again."

Clean comfortable and quiet room. Staff that were friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

Small, old fashioned TVs with a limited choice of free programs, but this seems to be a problem with all hotels.

The rooms are clean and tidy even though I found an old Condom Box behind the Tele.

The air conditioning unit needed to be on to make the room warm and it did make so much of noise it kept me awake.

"It was unfortunate that the weather was atrocious, which meant that we didn`t enjoy the stay. The hotel room was good; bar adequate but not much atmosphere and very expensive. The staff were extremely helpful. Never like to be charged for parking at a hotel but £3 a night was ok, I suppose, as we only stayed one night."

The hotel and room was clean, spacious, well lit and in a good location to access Leeds. We definately felt as though we were getting value for money, the bathroom was better in this hotel then in a 5* hotel i stayed at in Turkey over Summer!

A little noisy in the corridors at night, but we were next to the stairwell so was expected.

"The only problem we had was actually finding the hotel in the first place, also the taxi company that the hotel uses had no knowledge whatsoever of the pubs and clubs in Leeds.Our stay was only for 1 night but could not fault the accomodation or staff at all.Many thanks for a great night out."

"You charge for car parking when I was not expecting it considering I was a lone female and disabled. The breakfast should be more appealing. smoking rooms available The bar would be expensive You could not open the window other than just the top Traffic noise was unbearable"

Lots of space in the room, the nice modern decor, the shower was excellent, close to city centre 10 min walk. Help yourself continental breakfast so no waiting around for service, good choice of food. Liked sky news and newspapers in the breakfast areas. Excellent, very quick check-in and out. The staff were very helpful and friendly, replacing our soap in the bathroom quickly and giving us toothpaste for free.

It was a little cold and we were only able to heat to 25C. Was a little noisy from the wind and cars outside the window we were on the 6th floor, and the bed perhaps could have been a bit harder, but I'm being picky now! The restaurant area at breakfast was a little untidy.

"The room was functional but lacked any personal touchs such as pictures etc the television was to small for the size of room difficult to read any text on the screen. The lifts to floors was good but the stairwell was in dire need of redecoration. The breakfast was basic with items of crockery and food running out and staf having to be reminded to replace."

It was extremely clean which is very important, I have a phobia of being given a bed which is dirty with a stained mattress. A lot of hotels do! I inspected both and they were spotless! So was the room.

More coffee needed in the room, also biscuits would be nice. Although this was not a dislike!
