"Not impressed as per the review online."

Nice helpful staff. When we reported the points below - room 208 - the guy on the reception said he would close the room & have it sorted. Did he?

The bath/shower was dirty so we couldn't use it. The bath panel was broken & someone could really hurt themselves on it. The heating did not work & we were cold.

    staff very friendly and helpful

carpet in room looked as though it had been hoovered in weeks, on our first day in the hotel one of the lifts was broke and by the second day both of the main lifts where broke and we had to use the service lift which took 20mins to arrive on our floor with the amount of people using it.

"Very little value for money. £464 for four days. This hotel not a good standard of cleanliness though some very obliging staff."

Very good natured staff on the whole

Bad system computer: did not accept that my room had been paid for by my husband in advance. Had to argue about it at length. Then would not allow me to put one £7.95burger on bill when exhausted in room.Had to argue about that. Two of the lamps not working in room. No Wifi. Breakfast not included. Doors locked too early. No help out with heavy luggage. Long waits for lifts. Dirty bathroom. Hairs and urine stains. Mouldy carpets. NOT GOOD. Had to put towel on floor before walking barefoot.

First class leisure centre with an excellent swimming pool. Breakfast was very good value, wide choice and cool dining room.

Furniture in the room was on its last legs and in need of replacement, slightly shody.

"myself and my friend had a great time and we will be coming back again soon. "

It was a fantastic hotel, the location was A star! Room was clean and had lots of space. It wasn't modern but who needs modern, the room had everything that was needed. The bathroom was good, had everything needed once again and the shower was really powerful.

The only bad point about this hotel was the fact I was not looking forward to it due to bad reviews of the hotel... I honestly cant understand some people. I had a fantastic time at sashas..

"didn't like it at all! the pictures looked alot better than in person! as i was staying for much needed hospital treatment, i expected a nice relaxing week, luckily the treatment went well and i only stayed 5 days and not the full 9 days i booked!"

some staff were excellent at sorting out the problems we encountered, very close to all amenities!

no hot water, had 1 hot shower the night i arrived! no air con in any of the rooms, well it was there, but didn't work! we were moved twice for the reasons above! first 2 rooms were very poor esp. the bathrooms! poorly finished, showering caused the floor to become flooded, mould growing around tiles next to toilet, everything just looked like it needed a deep clean, or needed repairing! room service was quick, but the room menus were out dated as half the stuff we ordered was no longer on the menu! no wireless internet in the rooms, you had to go downstairs to use laptop! very noisy at night, i advise you to take earplugs! tv and aerial didn't work in last room until i fixed the aerial socket! no proper freeview, lucky to get the basic channels!

Good food at reasonable prices, nice size room, good location, good facilities.

Bathroom was a little tired and the tap leaked permanently. We were very pleased to find you offered a smoking room, however, an air freshener would have been nice.

Hotel very convenient to city centre. Staff very good, hotel good but could do with re-decorating. Was quiet at night.

No hot water in the bathroom, overall a hotel that requires re-vamping.

    "Perfectly fine"

    Location, cleanliness,accessibility

Slight damp smell in the room bad enough to notice but not bad enough to want to change rooms. One of the open access internet computers was not working but there was no sign to say so, so money was lost trying to operate it. No staff to informa and try to get a refund

"Comfortable, well located for shopping and sight seeing & within walking distance to theatres and arena."

Quiet - rooms well sound-proofed even though there was a large wedding party celebration the night we stayed.

Chaos at breakfast. Some staff rude and unhelpful - no member of staff to find a clean table.. No clean utensils, cups or saucers - cold coffee. Windowless room had inadequate air conditioning to cope with high summer temperatures.

Hotel was excellent and in a good central location. Hotel was very clean and tidy as well as friendly. The room we stayed in was a budget twin room and was bigger than expected with full air conditioning too, excellent value for money! Very satisfied with our room and facilities! Breakfast was also excellent, with a large variety of foods available such as fried breakfasts, cereals, toast, fruit, continental breakfast, all on a self serve basis, eat as much or as little as you like and go back for more and have a bit of everything if that's what you desire!

    No bad points to make!

"The hotel is in drastic need of improvement, it clearly has not seen a lick of paint or a splash of bleach since the 70s. My perception was that the owners really don't care about this as they will get guests whatever they charge due to the hotel's location. Beware, some rooms do not have windows and yet the whole place is like a sauna."

    Location.

Hotel was far too hot. Noise from other residents and also outside. Fire alarm went off twice at 5am. Admittedly this was due to guests smoking in their room, however, no-one from the hotel came to assure us the hotel was safe and to ignore the alarm. The coffee in the room was the worst I have ever tasted in my life - luckily there was a supermarket just a short walk away.

"It was a good cetnrally hotel which suited my purposes, was clean, and well ordered with freindly staff. Except for the lack of wi-fi I would be very happy to stay at this hotel again, the wi-fi problem might make me think twice, but I would probably still consider it reasonable value for money because of the central location and very helpful staff."

Friednly helpful staff, good basic clean room with a desk and straight backed chair, good food, especially at breakfast and OK at dinner. Central location, relatively quiet rooms.

Wi-fi access was advertised but actually only available in the lobby not the rooms. Lighting in the rooms was a bit poor/low no windows was not the problem, just with no or high windows you need more overhead lighting.

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was great, location excellent.

Minor thing but would've preferred the room to be cleaned before 3/4 o'clock in the afternoon as sometimes I was back before then and my room wasn't cleaned.

Helpful friendly staff at the reception.

There were two pairs of dirty smelly socks lying in the wardrobe. They must had been lying there forever as the wardrobe smelled like dirty socks. There were cracks in the bath tub and needs to be mended.

they gave us breakfast because of there mistake with double booking our 3 rooms

our rooms were double booked and we were then given rooms with no windows and the air con wasnt working. the springs in the bed kept us awake all night as we couldnt relax between the heat and the uncomfortable bed

    "Very bad experiance"

Hotel reception kept me waiting for 30 minutes looking for my booking even although i had provided them with the reference and pin numbers. Room was unbearably hot, i requested that the manager attend the room, after making three calls he decided to honour us with his presence. To give him credit he did agree that the room was unbearably hot, however said that he could not offer us anlternative. You would think that a room that has no windows would have at the very least a fully functional air conditioning unit!

very clean. Friendly staff, central location, good value for money.

The carvery restaunt was very unusual, ie only one type of meat which was ham. Also served fish, but the vegetables didnt match any of the meat which was orbagines, pepers, rice etc. this it not the usual mixture of food which you would see at any other carvery.
