"Convenient, accessible Guest House. Close to Gatwick and major Sussex towns. Extra bonus of being able to leave car whilst on holiday. Superb value for money. Helpful and informative staff."

Close proximity to Gatwick, ease of access. Helpful staff. Being able to leave my car during my holiday.

Strong smell of central heating oil in room.

"Small, modest, quiet country inn in the Gatwick area. Within this framework the place appears to be very well organized, the service is excellent and the bedroom and bathroom facilities are clean and comfortable. The English breakfast I had was very good. I felt I had good value for my money."

It is quiet. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the bed was excellent. I was especially impressed with the professional, friendly and efficient service of the hostess.

Reading light in the bedroom could be improved. The inn is located relatively far from the airport.

"Fine for a stopover - may be good when present owners finish building. They should consider not usuing cheap products for breakfast."

Very friendly staff and convenient car parking for the airport. Room clean and warm.

Cheap breakfast - economy products, entrance a building site and no tea making facilities or offer of an evening drink.

Very clean and friendly and very well situated for the airport.

That we couldn't stay for breakfast as our flight was 6am in the morning!

"The hotel was exceptonal as was the staff, but the condition the car came back was unacceptable."

    The staff were exceptionally helpful

The car which was left for 2 weeks came back as though it had been in a muddy field, and was extremely dirty.

    "See above"

    Clean and tidy

Although the staff did their best the food was of a poor standard. The evening meal was tasteless. At breakfast the food was barely warm and the tomatoes were out of a tin and were served cold. Having said this the young man looking after us was very helpful and polite.

"1. Man on the desk didn't speak good English 2. We had to pay for and organise the taxi transfer to the airport - this was not on the website and is expected for an airport hotel 3. No breakfast despite not leaving until 6:45am. 4. Had booked two ensuite rooms, but he put us in the cottage with shared facilities 5. Keys for cars handed back to us through barely open door and door slammed on us. Has obviously changed hands - will never use again and will advise my friends of the same. Will stay at Holiday Inn in future - same cost, including airport transfers and breakfast."

    Nothing

"Cheap and convenient. Clean and comfortable. We were made to feel welcome. Initially offered a double bed plus single which was not appropriate for me and two large sons! Good snack supper at £2.50 per head. Taxi to the airport was expensive but it was Boxing Day. We were picked up on our return which was most welcome, and not charged for this. We would definitely use this guest house again, even though the decor was dated and a bit tatty."

    Cheap and convenient, friendly hosts.

"very dissapointed, the lounge/dining room was so cold that my wife ended up with a cold so was poorly on holiday. No hot water for shower we did mention all these things at the time. We booked an evening meal we did'nt get offered a starter or dessert just a bit of lasagne & salad, and we also had to ask for milk to make a drink in our room. We encountered a further problem on our return from holiday but I cannot put that here."

The price included B&B and Parking so we could leave car in safety

The Armani was Freezing cold and there was no hot water
