"Good "

Very convenient and good breakfast facility

Not advised at check in that there was no restaurant available for dinner at weekend so had to get a takeaway delivered

Going the extra mile: Loaning us a cellphone charger. That was a great help.

How easy it is for children to access the pay-channel TV and select adult movies. It cost me £22 and I only discovered it as I left and I think they should make it more difficult for kids to just flick a few buttons on a remote to gain access to pay channels.

"Generaly happy with my stay but,really poor staffing levels,one member of staff to deal with the reception duties and running the bar.Poor grasp of the english language by the one member of staff that was on duty.Visitor guests commented on the same problems !! "

Easy to find,clean,well lit secure car park.

when i got to book in at the hotel, they could not find any record of my reservation, however they did have room, this was again a problem on checkout

"evrything was very nice and comfortable. the only thing i did not like was the the fact that i thought i paid on line when booking the hotel, so when we arrived and my card was debited with £95 i was shocked as i thought i had paid £65 already. this was not really explained when i booked on line or at reception, when checking in. but everything was explained the following moring when checking out, i did only pay £65 but still not sure why £95 was put in."

"Not enough space in the lounge for everyone to have breakfast. The hotel was full. The air conditioning in the lounge was blowing cold air both evening and morning making the room uncomfortably cold. No local produce / beers - nothing to suggest we were in Wiltshire! We could have been anywhere. The downside of knowing exactly what to expect in these hotels."

You know exactly what to expect as all these hotels are the same.

No blue nightlight in the bathroom as at the Cambridge hotel for this chain.

Everything was OK.

I believe the breakfast is rather poor. There is plenty of room for improvement. It may reflect on the price but is fine with me.

Would have appreciated more towels for a faimily. The breakfast was very basic and the juice tasted like flavoured water. A cooked option would have been preferable. Eating area very bland- a few plants would greatly enhance the area.

"We were disappointed to be given a smoking room which meant we had to keep the window open which made the room noisy from the nearby motorway. However despite this criticism we would definitely stay there again and plan to do so in the near future as it is very convenient for visiting our family. We accept that we should have asked for a no smoking room but were very tired after long day."

"The hotel was very clean and modern in easy reach of motorway. Handy for Swindon shopping. Room was perfect for what we needed. I would of liked to have known that the childrens bed in family room was a double sofa bed."

The hotel was very busy on the sat night so this made breakfast a nightmare the staf just couldn't cope with the demand.

"The only thing that was unsatisfactory was the kettle didn't work in the room and when given a replacement it was the wrong one. So we didn't have a working kettle for the duration of the stay."

The room was spotlessly clean and we liked the idea of the en-suite door being dual purpose.

"I can not think of anything else that we would have liked to have known in advance. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we were in the area."

The accommodation was very clean, light and airy. It was a great personal plus to have the hairdryer plugged in next to the mirror to be able to see whilst drying my hair. The breakfast was excellent and filling. We also liked the facility to have communication between our two rooms.

The only comment that I have here is that we would have liked the option of a thinner cover to use instead of the quilt as we found it quite hot.

"ALthough not the usual hotel we stay in when we visit Swindon we were very pleased, and pleasantly surprised, by the generally high standard of the accomodation. I would also like to say that the young lady, who was on the reception for both check-in and check-out the following morning,was excellent. She was efficient,helpful and friendly."

Friendly staff, good service and a comfortable room

"Whilst I appreciate that this was an express hotel and was therefore not surprised by the self service style breakfast, I felt that there needed to be more staff available to top up supplies, provide clean crockery/cutlery and clear tables, etc. There was only one member of staff on duty who was very busy answering guests queries as it was not totally clear how breakfast worked, maybe more obvious instructions in the bedrooms would be useful. I also noticed that the breakfast area was quite dirty and I had to set aside 3 or 4 breakfast plates because they had not been cleaned properly. Our overall stay was a pleasant one, we did not hear anything during the night which I was quite surprised at, as the hotel was very close to the busy M4. The reception/check in was very efficient and quick. We would definitely use the hotel again"

The hotel was very convenient, clean and very practical. We booked through active hotels who were able to give us a much better rate than by booking direct with the hotel.
