Very nice hotel. The interior felt very cosy. The room we stayed in was really bright. All seemed well taken care of. It was a pleasure to stay there!

"The place is convenient both for Barrow and for the coast of the island. I had a great time. "

I was upgraded to an en suite room since they had space without having to pay extra. The DSL line was fantastic, better than wi-fi. The room was nice, with a good bed and high ceilings. Though on a road, the windows must have been double-glazed since the room was pretty quiet. The staff was really nice and the owner drove me to the train station.

I never got very warm water in the shower.

"if you just want somewhere just to sleep this is ok, room not inviting enough to be able spend any leisure time in.No sightings of staff except when booking in and when being served breakfast. Definately would not stay here again. "

rooms were clean but very dated. bed very comfortable.

booked a junior double suite - very small would hate to have been in a standard size double. free view was not working. Have been more comfortable in travel lodge/premier inns.

"The level of professionalism surpassed that of many far more expensive hotels. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. You can see that it is a hotel improving itself and that is to its credit. We have stayed in may hotels within 10 miles, and in the price range this was certainly the best. Thank you."

The attention to detail and cleanliness of the hotel

"The hotel was sufficient for the price paid. Considering the exterior and entrance of the hotel were so lovely, the bedrooms in the hotel were a big let down. Very tired and basic, mismatch of furniture and could benefit from modernising and redecorating, although saying that we picked the en-suite room was nice and looked as if it had recently been re-tiled."

Good breakfast, staff very friendly and efficient

The quality of the interior of the rooms.

*Very clean & comfortable *Hearty breakfast *Helpful staff

*Too many notes around the room & bathroom advising guests to do / not to do certain things *No en-suite facilities in room. Several rooms sharing one bathroom *Shower in communal bathroom was inadequate due to low water pressure - hot water was constantly cutting out. Pump needed to rectify this

"The hotel was nicely situated. The gentleman who checked us in and served us breakfast was very friendly. Our breakfast order was confused and we had to ask twice for our tea. Generally, we were happy with our stay. We could not get the shower to work, however, we did not address this issue with the management."

It was a nice room, and the hotel is in an excellent location.

    The shower did not work.

"The place is a small, friendly guest house with friendly staff and good, clean rooms with lots of extra facilities - at least in the on-suite rooms, I can't speak for the rest. It is in a good, quiet and convenient location for travelling to/from and for the town centre."

location, quietness and freeview tv with dvd player available

"Very impressed. Excellant value for money. Exceptionally clean and well appointed."

Discreet friendliness of staff. Very informative and relevantly positioned information notices.

Nit picking. But perhaps an electric point near to the where the Electric kettle was positioned would have made it easier and safer to use. I had to boil it with the kettle on the carpet floor.

The rooms were better than advetised on your site and it was a pleasant experience staying at the Brow Haed Hotel.

With six rooms there was only one shower and the wait for the shower room was too long.

"Bed was lumpy and too soft and I had a bad back in the morning. Blanket on the bed was not clean - various hairs from other guests curled into it. There used to be a soap dispenser in the room and in the bathroom but these have fallen off and not been replaced. There is nowhere to put anything in the shower - no shelf so you end up having to put your shower stuff on the floor. The toilet is freezing cold even in early November. Nothing healthy at all available for breakfast - no fruit, seeds or nuts, no yoghurt, no green tea."

It is in a quiet spot and convenient to reach BAE systems

Cold in the bathroom and toilet

We even got an upgrade to the junior suite 4 room 2 which was very spacious and comfortable with lovely views across the bay. The bed linen was beautiful and the room had freeview, DVD player and free wi fi access. the bathroom was spotless and had dispenserd in the shower for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. well above expectations. Thakn you."
