"It was ok but would not rush back"

Fast efficient check in but quite unfriendly

Heating up full blast in room with no way of turning down /off. Plumbing very tempermental, including toilet and shower Breakfast was a free for all, example - eggs ordered, advised they were ready went to collect and other guests had them. Visitor members of the party had their order given to another guest and had to wait again fot them to be cooked

"Absolutely positive - maybe a bit overpriced"

Friendlyness and eagerness to help of staff

Romm number 5 - There was some sort of boiler or compressor working at the back of the hotel that was either pumping water for the shower and toilets or air for the same purpose. Ver noisy and rattling business. - I managed to sleep well in spite of this. - The noise level of such equipment should be revised and brought down.

    Bathroom cleaniness

1.Checking in process greeted by non English speeking person 2. person checking me in could not tell if room had been paid for already by my company 3. "Apart from accident detailed above it was fine. "

    Excellent breakfast. Good room cleaning.

Dodgy TV - no ITV channels - often losing signal on others. My husband tripped down steps, luckily only badly grazed arm, but hotels first aid box had no plasters or disinfectant. We were given a bandage which turned out to be a sling! I hope the chef never chops his finger off!

"I would not choose to stay again as I did not like the motel style and it was not clear when I made the booking that the hotel operated this style of accomadation. I would recomend to male colleague though or couple."

Clean, bright well aired. Staff nice very good evening food although the cooked breakfast wasn't nice at all.

The fact that it was Motel style which for a lone woman is unpleasant and there were no secondary door locks it felt unsafe and I did not get a good nights sleep at all.Bathroom dated but clean

"Very reasonable price but the accommodation was just too old and tired to be pleasant. The bathroom was very poor."

Room was clean. Adequate space for hanging clothes. hairdrier and good mirror.

Toilet seat was badly scratched and unpleasant. The bathroom was very tired and oldfashioned. The kettle was so filthy I could not use it.

"OVERALL I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT MY STAY"

THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY, THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE FACILITIES WERE MORE THAN ADEQUATE, WILL STAY AGAIN WHEN IN THE AREA

THE TIME OF BREAKFAST SHOULD BE 7 AM NOT 7.30

very comfortable, well equipped room. The breakfast, service, and dining facilities generally were first class

Attractive, well-furnishd room with all facilities.

Noise - was it a lift or the water system that kept groaning loudly from time to time?

"Very Good overall, and good value for money. Don't have meals , and drink put on your bill as V.A.T. is added!"

Very Clean, and the staff very pleasent.

Lack of instruction for meals. Just sat at Table for Beakfast on first day. Staff did not tell us it was self service.

"Your hotel was selected on location and price. We were visiting my Mother in Uckfield hospital to discuss her discharge to residential care. We were not here to enjoy ourselves. That apart the food was of good standard and of ample sufficiency. The provision of TWO tea-bags was stingy to say the least - however, on request, some loose tea-bags were provided. The TV only worked on BBC1 and BBC2 all other channels were unsteady, sadly I particularly wanted to 'watch' something on Channel 4 and was only able to 'listen' to most of it. The bathroom fittings were loose. I would recommend this hotel with reservations."

The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable.

We were greatly disturbed by a group of very young childred who seemed to be unsupervised. Banging on doors and windows to attract the occupants who were not letting them in. When I went to investigate, the two children approx 3 -5 years old outside did not appear to understand english.

Rooms were too dark and depressing. no internet access. As a woman staying in a room on my own it did not feel safe , door locking mechanism did not inspire confidence. Most hotels have a chain.

"Arrived after lunch had been served, only cake and nuts for refreshments. Long wait till evening meal. Nowhere in area to eat as hotel is on a busy road on a roundabout. Carvery on first evening was excellent. Second evening had meal chosen from menu, which was also excellent, and reasonably priced."

Newly refurbished bathroom with plenty of hot water, shower and bath.

Could hear person upstairs walking about a lot.

"more details of the village around the hotel. Also, a view of the menue would have been useful. The staff were helpful. It was an attractive room with plenty of space and hanging space with hangers and shelves. The only thing which I was unhappy with was the size of the double bed. It was a comfortable bed, if on the small size."

    size of room and cleanliness

For size of room, the bed could have been much wider
