"I used to stay here quite often in 2001 for business, and was never able to bring my husband. Finally, we were able to go together for a short holiday. It was lovely to see that though the Queensberry may have changed a bit in appearance, it's ambiance and the cheerfulness of the staff didn't. Our stay was as enjoyable as I imagined it would be. And the food at the Olive Tree just as tasty as it was those many years ago! Thanks for everything! Cheers."
I love the location of the hotel; easy walk through a cute neighborhood to city center. Also going downstairs to fine dining and afternoon tea is perfect.
I love the high shower pressure, but the tub drained slowly. The suite and the rest of the bathroom really was divine-- shower and tub area just needs a bit of fixing up....

"I absolutely loved the hotel. The accommodation was superb, tastefully decorated and with many impressive 'little touches' including the lovely toiletries. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I thoroughly recommend The Queensbury, what a find!"
I loved the tasteful decoration, the relaxed ambience and the separate lounge area in our room.

"This was a special weekend for us and the hotel and its staff helped to make it for us. We usually travel as a family or group of friends and stay in budget hotels or self cater, so that this was a real treat."
Central location, excellent restaurant, pleasant staff

"Beautiful character hotel, with contemporary style and lovely drawing rooms. Classic bedroom suite not too small and beautifully laid out. Boutique and stylish. Mod-cons flat screen tv, cd/radio player etc, White Company toiletries, lovely restaurant with gorgeous food and great wine list. Lovely staff."

"Despite our late booking, we were pleased with the hotel facilities. The hotel was a bit farther from the central area of Bath than we had hoped, but was a walkable distance, even for two older people. It was quiet and restful. A bit overpriced- but still a nice stay in a lovely town."
The hotel room was quite lovely and spacious. The steps up to the bathroom were a surprise but manageable. We required no special service other than the usual room tidying. What we received seemed quite adquate and unobtrusive- just the way we like it.
The prices for the room and breakfast were a bit on the high side, especially considering that we received just a room- no spa, excerise facilities, etc. Breakfast was adquate but not overly special for a rather stiff tarrif.

"The hotel was overpriced for the standard - it is only rated three star. Breakfast was overpriced at "
Clean and well presented with comfortable room. Valet parking very useful in Bath.
Shower was poor. Bedside lights too weak. No large mirror in bedroom area. Steep steps to bathroom.

"A beautiful and well-positioned hotel, very well equipped, nicely decorated room and cosy, contemporary communal areas. Staff were friendly and helpful and the valet car parking was an utter godsend. An excellent place for a romantic weekend. Bathrooms were cosseting though mine wasn't as private as it could have been with a direct view over Bath and neighbouring houses from the loo! The hotel has many stairs and not all rooms are serviced by a lift. Breakfast was not included in my rate which I was not previously aware of but was generous and laid back as befitted its quite high price."
good position, high standard of accomodation
breakfast is quite expensive

"ideally situated for shopping in Bath - the directions to the hotel were not very good but we found it without too much trouble. easy to walk into town but in a quiet street so ideal for relaxing. rooms have TV and CD players. Well worth eating in the Olive Tree restaurant downstairs - the best meal I've ever had! Just the perfect place for a weekend retreat"
impecable, friendly service. lovely touches in the rooms e.g. white co toiletries and dressing gowns. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere in the drawing rooms. food in the restaurant fantastic. non smoking - very important to us
the arrival of children on the last day did spoil the atmosphere a bit but I don't suppose that we could ask you to exclude them! I would choose child freehotels if I could - it is just so much more relaxing without the noise! otherwise the experience could not be improved

"The location of this hotel is excellent and exactly where any visitor to Bath would want to be. The rooms are generously proportioned and very clean and attractive. The staff is not overly outgoing but is very professional."
This is a classy small hotel with large lovely rooms in an excellent location.
The reception was not very friendly.

"The hotel is situated in one of the historic streets of Bath, and is thus very good for indulging Jane Austin fantasies. However the fantasies will not survive indoors, as the decor is modern and stylish. Our superior room contained the largest bed we have ever slept in, with excellent linens. Staff were always helpful, even after midnight. We were very pleased to find after our long drive that they have a valet parking service, as street parking is almost non-existent for non-residents."
The hotel is a sophisticated retreat in the centre of the town.
There is only an honour bar in one of the lounges -we had hoped to treat our friend to a cocktail before going out for the evening.

"From the moment you arrive, the staff are most welcoming and helpful. The hotel is decorated to a high standard throughout and the rooms are relaxing and well appointed. However, the highest accolades should be reserved for the hotel restaurant and its food, which is excellently cooked and presented. The restaurant also boasts an extensive wine list which is also good value for money. Overall, an hotel to be throrughly recommended."
The standard of the decoration, the relaxed atmosphere and most importantly the standard of the restaurant

"Would have liked to know about all of the steps - not good for an older person such as my husband and the restaurant food/service was not good value for money. The restaurant does not earn its reputation."
Central to Bath, large room/bathroom, comfortable/clean bed
Didn't know beforehand that there are tons of steps, bathtub is difficult for older people

"Another extremely enjoyable stay at The Queensberry. Wonderful dinner in the Restaurant and very good breakfast. Staff friendly and very helpful. Valet parking of car adds to overall pleasure of stay!"

"I think the 'Queensbury' is a charming hotel tho slightly over priced. However, I would stay again as the location is great and the staff efficient and polite."
Clean and comfortable.
Rather be warm than cold but the temreture of the room was way too warm. Not crazy about turquoise either and you have to pull the blind in the bathroom even during the day as the toilet is overlooked by houses opposite.

"Great small hotel in perfect location close to all tourist venues. Decorated without fault in modern style which blended well with the historic Grade 1 Listed Wood design. Lovely basement restaurant with excellent food and service although wines/drinks rather pricey.Lovely breakfasts but again rather pricey at £14.00 for a cooked meal. With difficult or no public parking adjacent to the Hotel the porter service to park and return the car was excellent and a welcome relief in a town centre."
Central position close to main attractions. Opportunity to stay in a John Wood design house.
Staff did not attend to non working light on stairway to bathroom. No hospitality tray in room.

"We were very impressed overall and would definitely consider staying here again."
On arrival we loved the valet parking - takes away the stress of finding a parking space. We liked the cosy feel of the hotel and the efficiency of the reception staff. The room decor was stylish and well maintained. There were a selection of magazines to read in the room.
It was far too hot in the hotel - we couldn't cool down without opening a window but it was too loud outside to do this during the night. No tea/coffee facilites in the room - had to go downstairs for this. When checking out reception got a bit overcrowded
