"The room was comfortable, but the next morning at around 10.45am an employee of the hotel came and knocked on the door asking what time we were leaving the room, which felt like we have had your money now get out. No very polite"

The hotel is in a good location for the town and sea front

The bar inside the hotel was way over priced

"Overall a very pleasent stay and a nice relaxing hotel."

    Awesome views from our room.

The tea pot was half full of stale tea, and the bathroom window ledge and net curtain very dirty.

"We had an excellant stay at the hotel & the staff were very helpful. It was really warm & cosy. The english breakfast was adequate for anyone, with plenty of other choices on the menu. If you want to be close to the town centre without being right in the middle then this is the place."

The hotel was homely and the staff were very helpful.

"In general we found the Queenswood Hotel to be more than adequate for our needs and its shortcomings of little consequence, given that we only stayed for a weekend."

Overall the hotel was very clean, comfortable and well kept. The room we occupied being to a similar standard and well equipped.

The hotel suffers from a lack of off-street parking, although spaces on the road are usually available except for late at night. Our room whilst adequate was somewhat small and the bathroom door would not close properly.

Nice view over the beach and pier. Fantastic breakfast provided as part of the deal.

Steep stairs to our second floor room and no elevator for heavy baggage.

"The period building stands majestically on a raised street a short walk from the beach, bars and eateries. The room was comfortable and the standard of cleanliness good. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient."

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and entertainment. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient.

The shower was not working effectively on our first night, however this was dealt with promptly by staff once highlighted.

No evening meal available that evening requiring walk into town as hotel not busy enough to warrant opening

"Hotel is set on quite a steep hill but not enough to cause a problem. Stairs to rooms could cause a problem if you are carrying heavy luggage but I think the staff would help if asked. Bar not overpriced"

Nice comfy hotel with plenty of off road parking, very helpful and friendly staff.

Height of ceiling in bathroom low but we coped

"A point to note is that despite being charged as double the room only contains a queen sized bed."

The full english breakfast is quite good.

The room's windows are quite draughty making the room feel cold.

Room very small, although it had everything needed.

"the room was the nicest room ever. it had a large window facing the sea and from it you could see the pier and the island off the coast. in the afternoon the sun shone through the window and we could see ships on the horizon to the close packed vintage street below us. an amasing hotel and i'd love to stop there again for longer."

the room was gorgeous and the view from the window was even better.the hotel has a lovely charm about it that you can see just from looking at the building. the breakfast hit the spot and the location means your in just the right place for a short stroll to the beach or town centre. neither my girlfriend or I expected it to be such a nice hotel and it made our stay in weston supermare so much fun.

we had no problems parking outside the hotel, but when its busy you may have some trouble parking by it due to the small size and the roadside was packed too.but there are parking spaces all around the area.

"I needed to know that parking was limited and that they coudn't serve an evening meal. In general my stay was fine and the staff helpful but as a 60 + customer, I would have liked help with my luggage."

The staff in general and particularly in the dining room were helpful and courteous and the breakfast was good. Although there was very little parking space, which is obviously a disadvantage, they were very helpful in allowing me to park my car

Having to carry all my luggage up to my room, having to go out to eat in the evening and no air conditioning or fans.

"It is a good building, conviniently located and the staff are friendly and helpful. The web provided my with all the infor I needed."

The location, information given and the staff

The shower. It had no curtain and I had to have a bath and just use the shower to swill myself down after the bath. Took much more time. Also, the water stopped running hot after a while.

"We had an enjoyable break in a friendly atmosphere. The hotel was much smaller than we anticipated and the rooms were noisy - we could hear other residents in their rooms which we would expect in a Guesthouse but not a Hotel. The room was smaller than expected although very pleasant. We thought the rates were a little expensive, although in some way the friendly approach made up for this. The hotel was always spotlessly clean."

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of smiles.

It took a while to get hot water through the shower and taps in our room and the downstairs cloakroom facilities were too small to use

  • 70% Young couple

it was in a reasonable location - access to the sea front and the local town centre.

the breakfast was ok, but as it was included in the price it was expected.

    Friendly Staff

Room and ensuite old fashioned, small and outdated.A great place to stay for the over over 80's
