"I had a good stay."
I was picked up very quickly when I telephoned at the pick up point to inform them that I had arrived. You could come and go as you pleased once you had booked in and and was given the key to your room. The room was comfortable and warm.
I had to carry my own luggage upstairs to my room without any assistance.

"I am surprised you are calling it a hotel. I stayed at many places in many different countries in my life, but this one is at the bottom of the list. The furniture and everything else in that place was old and out-dated. "
No good points to report.
The room was the size of a broom closet. Two people and three suitcases filled the room to capacity. The only place to sit was the bed, never mind walking around. The room had one small window. The view made us decide to forget breakfast and leave as soon as possible, even if it meant to spend extra time at the airport.

"The bathroom was so tidy hardly room to sit on the toilet...toilet was never cleaned...stayed 2 nights..no confirmation when I had requested a 2nd night stay..had to phone long distance to confirm the 2nd night. Breakfast was terrible for the price...dining room not clean...seems most B& B's near airport are basically all the same..would book further away from Airport next time.."

"For the money, it's a good Hotel and we enjoyed being close to Horley's main street with pubs, restaurants, cafes and stores."
Pleasant Hotel, perfectly situated with very short walk into Horley. Easy access in and out of Hotel and helpful staff.
Only one complaint which is very easy to remedy, buy two new pillows to replace the old ones in room No.5, we would have mentioned this to the manager but didn't get a chance to see him before we left. It's a nice hotel and it would be unfair for them to lose customers because of this small but still quite important complaint. Thank you.

"This is a family run hotel in a location convenient to town, the train station, and the airport. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The FREE breakfast menu offers several choices including hot breakfast, continental breakfast, and even a hot vegetarian breakfast. I stayed 4 nights and felt very comfortable there. It's not the Hilton but if you want that you will have to pay a lot more. This is a clean well run hotel for the money. I was completely satisfied and I would definitely use this hotel again!"

"Being only mine and my partners' second stay it was much better than expected and worth booking up for in the future."
The lodge was good enough on all levels for me and my partner.Breakfast was all nicely presented and the location is for those individuals who prefer a more intimate and less crowded stay before travelling on.
Only for the restoring process which was expected and the back garden under going renovation.

I have stayed in both white house and gainsborouh lodge.both were good value for money,convenient for airport, very helpful staff. I especially liked the new refurbishment of gainsborough lodge

Having a bad back, I was very pleased that on asking, assistance was readily given to help me and my case was taken to my room. Breakfast excellent, both for my friend and for me as I am a vegetarian.

Comfortable room at a reasonable price. Staff very helpful - was allowed to leave my car on site even after I had checked out as I was using train to London.
Can be noisy with airport bound guests checking out in early hours but I was aware of this when I booked. My room was next to the laundry room and one night the tumble driers were on until the small hours and a very strong light left on which shone into my window - I eventually turned this off at around 1am as the door was unlocked!

Room was okay, but basic. We received an apology and a free drink for the error over the collection of one of our party see bad points below
The driver from the companion hotel missed picking up one of our party from Gatwick. She had to wait at the stop at gatwick for more than 30 minutes and had to ring again and arrived finally cold and upset as the driver was argumentative to her and claimed that it was her fault. This created a bad start to our holiday. Also only one member of staff on at breakfast which meant service was slow.

beds were small which didn't allow a good night sleep shower and toilet areas small listed in brochure in rooms that internet was accessable in lounge, they had no computer also listed that for sale behind reception were essentials like tooth paste i was told to look in another room soundproofing is needed as everytime someone closed their room door my room rattled

"We will look for Premier again, but only for short stays, because although our general experience was positive, we do like to unpack properly and be organised. This is a pity as we came away with a good impression of the staff, food and the ambiance."
We really liked the hotel - location was so convenient, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff went out of their way to help. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens and towels of high quality. We noticed the bath fittings, lights etc were of good quality too. The shower was wonderful. The restaurant was very pleasant and the breakfast and dinner were very good value. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. The decor in our room and the rest of the hotel was lovely.
Nowhere to put sweaters , undies etc. Nowhere to hang the second set of towels. No shelf in the shower for toiletries. By the end of the week we were trying to find things which were somewhere in untidy piles on the shelving unit.
