"Very good, comfortable, and very friendly staff."
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, and working WiFI!
Rooms a bit on the small side, and not all the same standard. Some singles with desk and some without, which is quite difficult.

Hotel was very clean, owner was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Excellent taxi company recommended.
Noisy plumbing from other rooms very noticeable during the night. Some guests didn't bother getting dressed for breakfast - the sight of a rather large gentleman in a grubby, holey vest and shorts was a bit much!

We did not stay at the Banister as we were found alternative accommodation at the Eaton Court hotel, Southampton by your organisation , which provided us with a very enjoyable experience .Pleasant friendly staff who did everything possible to make our stay a good experience .

"All went well, booked a hotel to be close to the ferry, it had a carpark, which was ideal, price was right, breakfast, good. It would be useful if they had a review and directions of local eating places, saves searching around, especially if you are nes to the area."

"Visitor than the en suite facilities, I could not fault the hotel. The management were polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as freshly cooked and derved with a smile. All in all, an excellent service, especially considering the cost of our stay."
The hotel appeared to have been recently decorated throughout and was spotless.
The en suite WC compartment was rather small a would, I feel, present something of a challenge to an older person trying to turn round in it.

It was clean and in very good order. All services were easily accessible. Very helpful and accomodating staff.
Not much - it was very small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.

"Very enjoyable stay. Most important was the cleanliness and the hotel is totally non-smoking. Good service from a friendly and amenable host. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is within easy walking distance for numerous pubs, wine bars and restaraunts in a student type loacale but not close enough to be bothered by any noise."

The room was very small but adequate for our needs as we only needed it for sleeping. Would not like to stay in this size room for more than 2 nights.

Location near University. Helpful hosts. Off street parking.
Smoker in room next to us for 2 nights. Management put a stop to it the 2nd night. Breakfast too early for vacationers. Room rather small. Management unavailable after 9 pm, so unable to lodge complaint about smoker first night.
