Good location , easy to find, close to airport. Fresh clean appearence of hotel and very polite staff.

Have to go outside to catch airport bus which would not be at all comfortable in cold or rainy weather. Bus was 15 minutes late. Cannot wait for bus inside hotel

"Interior of the hotel public areas and the rooms was excellent, very modern, but with style. The building works externally make the hotel slightly uninviting, but this did not disrupt our stay at all. We had a meal and drinks in the cube bar/restaurant and was good value. Will be using this hotel again soon. "

"The hotel had no record of our internet booking the young man on reception allowed me to use the computer in the lobby to look up my booking ref: I got this then had to q up again I then had to explain the whole thing again to a another lady the orginal young man made no attempt to assist even though he was aware of the situation. I was concerned that the cups and glasses in the room were washed in the bathroom sink. We were staying for four days the nature of our trip meant we were coming and going throughout the day we had arranged to pay the £5 per day parking fee yet we had to stand in line everytime we were leaving for a exit pass I asked for a few to save time and was given a strange look!! on check out we were charged for full english breakfast for two days we had continetal a breakfast on one morning only. The check out process took almost half an hour. on a positive note the resturant staff and the housekeepers were very good and offered an excellent service."

Room was on the small side

"Well mantain and quiet Hotel. It is not that close to Gatwick about 15-20 min and the bus cost 3 sterling. Does not have TV on the room and Internet it is available but extra. Heater was not working properly. But in general I would reccomend it."

Check in was OK and the size of the room and decoration was also good. It was not noisy as normally airport Hotels are.

Too cold air conditioning/heater was not enough or not working properly. It does not have TV. Smell of painting. I have to pay for the transport to Gatwick and buses are not that clean, although very polite driver. In the evening buses do not run that often. Wireless is not included in the price.

"It would have been helpful to know that hotel was under construction; entrances and exits were blocked off, workmen using jackhammers, etc. It would have allowed me to make other accommodations."

Paper thin walls; could hear EVERYTHING from surrounding rooms; got no sleep.

The room was excellently appointed.

"Good transfer facility to the airport, although did have to wait over 30 mins for bus. Fast check in. Modern clean room with free tea and coffee etc."

The instructions to get to the hotel by public transport were inaccurate. The room overlooked the heating machines of the hotel and were very noisy. Additionallz, the room was also over the kitchen and the smell of cooking was very prevalent. For both the above reasons, it was almost impossible to open the window for fresh air.

Toilet broke twice in 1 night stay.

"Unreliable best describes our stay. The hotel is advertised as 2km from the airport, but it takes 15 minutes to reach the north terminal, and 20 minutes the south. We arrived at 10:30 to find the dining area closed. Not a pleasant experience after traveling all day. The bathrooms are gorgeous! Probably the best I've ever seen in a hotel. Unfortunately, they weren't cleaned properly prior to our check-in. The hotel definitely has the potential to be a great experience. Unfortunately, ours was not. These things happen sometimes. The bathroom was really nice.

Our room wasn't prepared properly. The bathroom appeared as though it was just used - dirty towel and wet shower. Also, there was nothing in the mini-bar. Moreover, there was a wedding reception taking place, which caused late night rowdiness on our floor. At one point in the evening someone tried entering our room.

"This is pretty well answered above. There is little more to add. We were there only for an overnight stay preparatory to catching an early morning trans-atlantic flight. Overall it was not an unsatisfactory experience."

The hotel, and room, was clean and well maintained. The staff were efficient and helpful.

The temperature control unit on the bedroom wall was very difficult for a non-Brit to fathom out. The fact that it was solely in centigrade did not help. The food and beverages seemed highly priced but, admiitedly, this was due in large measure to our third world US dollar exchange. We are used to courtesy buses being exactly that -- courtesy buses! Meaning they are operated by the hotel without cost to the hotel guests. Three pounds apiece, each way, twelve pounds in total was an unwelcome surprise.

"Staff was friendly and helped when the wireless and computer room were down. Don't expect any online action from the hotel system if you have Windows Vista. Rooms were clean and confortable. Lists airport shuttle to Gatwick....3 pounds each way. Guests staying closer to Gatwick found no seats available as the bus got to their hotel."

Hotel is updating and because of construction, parking was limited.

The room was very modern with lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and efiicient.

Nothing - the hotel was excellent.

"The food is very good in the restaurant. This is a second time we have stayed as this hotel and have booked to stay again in September, would reccomend as a stop over but don't rely too much on the courtsey bus service, it's always running late."

Clean and relatively modern. Staff very courteous, polite, and helpful.

Small room, shower curtain too close, car park too full. Lifts very slow and small.

"The hotel was adequate but nothing special. The price was right and pretty much reflected what we got. The staff were all very nice and checking in and out was easy. The place looks tired and the hallways run down. We were only over-nighting to catch a flight out in the morning so for this, the hotel was fine. But it would not be my choice if I was planning on staying in town for a few nights. The bus service to Gatwick was a pleasant and unexpected bonus."

could not keep room cool, equipment not working. Room service menu is an absolute ripoff for what you get. Quality of food is less than cheap supermarket. I rang the duty manager but got charged

There was no iron for clothes. One person got a coffee maker instead of a much needed kettle

The hotel was situated in an excellent part of crawley, easy to find and was very well equipped for a weekend break and also for flights from gatwick.

"The booking online process was easy and convenient. The room was very nicely done, but not being able to control the aircon was iritating. I enjoyed the use of the leisure centre, which was clean and pleasant to use. Housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. I found the room service staff to be abrupt and a bit rude. The food was a bit expensive for what it was."

The room was comfortably funrnished and a reasonable size. It was convenient to have leisure centre within the hotel.

The aircon was not controlled in the hoel room. I felt the room could have better ventilation. The room could get a bit stuffy.

"If staying for dinner I would recommend eating out! Service in the resturant was poor also. You didn't feel very important as the staff were too busy talking to each other rather than me the customer! Room was nice but basic. Very close to Gatwick airport which was good. Don't think I would stay there again."

Nice hotel was flying on holiday from Gatwick the next day so ideal location only 4 miles away! Room was okay. Swimming pool was great. Cube bar was also very nice and resonable price
