The only problem I had with the hotel was lack of hot water for the shower. There must be a timer switch as I wanted a shower about 12 noon one day - there was no hot water. Also a few noisey guests, but that was not the hotels fault.

I liked everything about the accommodation it had a nice friendly atmosphere, the room we stayed in was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the location was brilliant as it was near everything!

"I disliked nothing as I was satisfied with my stay, I am more interested in cleanliness and friendliness than a posh suite, I have stayed in many hotels in my lifetime ranging through all classes and this hotel delivered all the good points and none of the bad, the rooms decor may not be to a super high finish that you might expect from an expesive room at any major chain but that is not the hotel you have here. I was more than satisfied with the decor in the room as it was like my home, not flashy yet not tatty by any stretch. All furniture was ingood condition as where all the fittings. Everything was kept very clean and smelt fresh and airy throughout even more expensive hotels can have a hospital feel to them but not here . The staff where extremely polite, accomodating, informative and friendly. To me this hotel has been a pleasant experience and great value in a time where that is becoming more difficult to find. I beleive all the other guests agreed with me that it is a most pleasant place to stay and one less thing to worry about while trying to relax on your holiday or business time away from home in this country. Thanks again for a happy time"
I enjoye a warm, friendly and informative welcome from Geoff the Hotelier and was satisfied with whole experience. I had a quiet relaxing stay with in-room tea/coffee making facilities with tv/dvd. The rooms were warm and snug at night and light and airy in the day with a nice en-suite bathroom with shower, all fully functioning and clean. I had a wide choice of breakfast and my fussy taste was no problem with the chef as she kindly cooked my what I wanted from the breakfast menu. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who wanted wxcellent value for money without comprimising on comfort, quiet, friendly and with an excellent location. Thanks Shepperton Blackpool for an enjoyable stay.

"There is a difference on the website as to check in times an checking out it says you can check in anytime from 07.00 to 0.00 we arrived at 9:15 an were told to come bac at 12noon due to other people being in the room.on check out it says 10:30 yet wen u arrive in your room there is a sign saying you need to be out of the room by 10.00.Our stay was ok an we had a bed to sleep in an a bathroom to use,but i cant see us staying there again."
The off road parking round the back of the hotel, and the staff were not in your face and it was close to where we wanted to be.
It could of been cleaner, the shower wasnt very powerfull, there was a strange smell in the hotel on some occasions.

"Apart from the two minor dislikes the hotel was a very warm and friendly place and we will certainly be staying there next time we go to Blackpool."
We had traveled over night and arrived early but got a warm welcome from the hoast and let in our room to rest for a while... The breakfasts were the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had...
The only things we were not happy with was the shower head did not stay up. I had to hold the shower head all the time... There was a lot of door banging mainly the first night..

"My boyfriend and I booked a stay at the Shepperton for 3 nights over New Years Eve 2005 and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was superb as right next to the pleasure beach. Unfortunately we didn't rise early enough to enjoy breakfast our fault-due to a few late nights!but we walked passed the dining room as we were leaving. It did look very nice indeed. We were sad we had missed it. There was fruit juice, cereals, yoghurts etc as well as the usual fare. Our room had a dvd player in it which was a very nice touch too. Overall I can't fault the Shepperton. It was a great place to stay and good value. We would definitely stay there again!"
The room and hotel were very clean. The proprietor was a lovely man, very keen to help and give advice on the local area. Also photocopied some information about what was going on in Blackpool for new years eve which we found very handy. Could not do enough to help us! We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Family room booked was spacious and airy which was good considering I had a baby under a year and had plenty of equipment I could not avoid taking. Playstation was provided for my older children which passed a few hours when we had to stay in the room because of bad weather. Breakfast in morning was excellant and all staff very freindly.

"The hotel was good for the money. It would be fine for families as well. It is within spitting distance of the pleasure beach, but the road was surprisingly quiet so we were able to get a good nights sleep. the staff were very friendly and made us welcome. The breakfast was good and the none smoking dinning room was clean and tidy. If you are looking for lavish rooms with big en suites don't bother. if you are looking for a comfortable and friendly atmosphere at a reasonable cost this is the place."
Although the room was very small, it suited our needs and was clean and tidy. The bathroom was very clean and everything worked fine.
Had a dodgy air freshener in reception. smeld like an OAP's home...

"The hotel was ideally situated near to pleasure beach. Bit of a walk to town centre , however excellent tram service runs throughout the day and evening. Parking at the hotel is a little tight, however owners are very accommodating to ensure parking space is available. Rooms are very clean with good facilities. Owners and staff will bend over backwards to ensure a relaxed stay. Breakfast is not for the faint hearted!"

"Comfortable, spotlessly clean, people were helpful and friendly but not in your face, good food, with lots of choice - and plenty of it, clean comfortable beds, endless hot water - not just at certain times of the day!! Room was good size and smelt as nice as it looked. Best hotel I've stayed in Blackpool. Could not fault this at all, I would highly recommend, I certainly will book again, and have given business cards advertising the Shepperton to my friends. Ideal for Pleasure Beach, South Shore Pier and Sandcastle - only a short walk away. Could be a problem for wheelchair users as there is no ramp and no lift, all rooms except for Dining Room, Bar and Lounge are upstairs. Parking may be an issue if the hotel is booked up, but it didn't effect me, as we got there by train and tram!"
