"My stay was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and my room was very comfortable. The choice for breakfast was excellent and the service was very good. Next time I will pre-book a parking space as parking in Blackpool can be tiresome."
Cleanliness of the room and very accommodating

"Enjoyed our stay very much, lovely rooms and very clean. As i said before it was just that the bar was not open bcause the owner had said it had been too quiet, and as 2 young couples we would have liked the opportunity to relax with a couple of drinks before we went on our night out."
Easy access to the pleasure beach, nice clean rooms, polite staff.
The only thing was that the bar was not open as it was quiet, we would of just liked to have been able to have one or two drinks before we went on our night out.

"Get there early for a car parking space, none at the hotel but plenty around! We only had Bed and Breakfast but with John being a trained chef and after sampling the breakfast's I would stick around for a main meal! Really nice basement lounge for quite night's in with excellent pub grub! Ideal for short breaks or longer stays. With our thanks to John and Josie."
The accommodation was as described to us!
Nothing to dislike as we knew what we were getting!

"Accessible, nearby car parks, close to beach. Food breakfast excellent and value for money.Friendly hosts & staff. Very clean, so important especially when you bring children. Overall 10 out of 10. We have already booked again."
Spotlessly clean, affordable, near to the beach for the children, everything in working order in the room. Friendly hosts.
Would have liked a bath for the children as they are not usually used to showers when young.

"We booked online with no problems at all. When ariving to the hotel there was a small problem with parking, the hotel only had enough room for approx. three cars so we had top park over 400yards away in the Pleasure Beach car park £7.50 24hrs. We were met at the hotel by the owners/managers who were very polite and business like. They showed us to our en suite rooms, which were very well presented, with Colour TV, Coffee making facilities & the usual shampoo/Shower gel bits and bobs. Breakfast was very good - clean and well cooked although if you've good appetite you may need to treat yourself to some donuts after..... Once finished 15 mins after the ordering deadline - Breakfast served 8:45 - 9:30 at the table we quietly chatted, planning our day ahead.... We were a little shocked by the manageress's strict time management... and were asked to leave the table so she could clean up........... We did..... Packed and left.... Yes we would stop again, purley for the cleanliness of the hotel, But would recommend that prospective clients rush their breakfast............."
Clean & Very Friendly
Not to be rushed off the breakfast table... Need to be more flexible.

"Danescourt is a very nice hotel run by a nice couple. They were very welcoming and helped me tremendously whenever I was in the hotel. If I do return to Blackpool in the future, I would want to stay at Danescourt again."
It was clean, quiet and the food was good.
check the tea/coffee makinf faciliities are fresh. I had a cup of tea and it tasted awful. Unsure if this was due to old tea bag, water or kettle.

"It would of been nice to know when booking online if the room is in the front or back of the hotel, how many flights of stairs you have to take and whether it has a seaview or not.Thankyou, so much for a lovely weekend!"
It was very clean, comfortable and very friendly. The Owners could not help us enough. It was a pleasure to stay there!
Air conditioning or a fan, it gets very warm in the top of the hotel in the summer.
from Brough United Kingdom;UK, stayed on July 13, 2005
"Blackpool is Blackpool so I suppose we should have guessed that there would be a lot of external noise to contend with. If we had thought about it properly beforehand we would most definitely have requested a much quieter room. However, despite some of the negative comments I have given, the noise problems we experienced wouldnt stop us booking a room at this hotel again."
The hotel itself was very clean, the staff very friendly and always willing to help.
The room we stayed in was particularly small but our friends had a much larger room. Our room also suffered from a lot of external noise not really the hotel's fault. Road/street cleaners at about 6am on a Saturday morning not exactly what the doctor ordered after a night out and the hotel adjacent had people chatting loudly in their front patio area directly underneath our window or so it seemed. This wouldnt have been such a probem except the time was 3am !!! We couldnt close the window on either night due to the lack of airconditioning in the room so, overall, despite the staff being very helpful and polite, we did not get much sleep/rest over the weekend, which was the original plan.

"Good weekend.very comfortable.People need to know how many stairs there is in the hotel, because if some body couldn't get up stairs IT would be a problem ."

"Parking difficulties should have been highlighted the hotel did not accept the balance of the cost by either cheque or switch card. We had to pay via Visa with a 3% surcharge."
room was clean breakfast was good
having to pay for the stay as soon as we arrived made us feel as if we were not to be trusted. No protected parking in front of the hotel and difficulty parking nearby Decor very dated

Functional
The accomodation was very basic, the staff very unsympathetic.

"It served my purpose for a single night stay in Blackpool."
Being able to book for a minimum of one night.
Accomodation was to hot, no control of room heating. I found breakfast was only just adequate in quantity.
