"One may find something a little nicer, else-where, for similar money but overall a positive experience with no complaints."
In summary I'd say: Worth the price paid! A clean, adequte room plus a hearty breakfast in the morning. Lots of welcome communication/directions/patience from the owners on the drive up we must have phoned half a dozen times!. Apart from that pretty average - served its purpose for our overnight stay. Pubs closeish - the front goes on forever!
~Small en suite bathroom in ground floor room may be different story in other rooms. ~Decor tired in places.

"I was pleased with everything involved in our weekend, the couple made us feel welcome, I am a travel agent myself and have a critical eye for hotels but my partner and I partner were very pleased."
The hotel room was spotless and everything was in working order, we were made to feel very welcome. Great location.
Breakfast only ran from 08.45 to 09.30 and i appreciate this is a b&b not a hotel but getting up early on my holiday was difficult!

Excellent bar food/breakfast and hospitality. Staying with 2 young children and the other guests helped by being quiet in their comings and goings.

"Had a great reception from the staff, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The atmosphere is nice with the family pictures on the wall, wish I could have stayed longer! Nice little B&B for a couple or a family. "
Close to pleasure beach, and some of the pubs, the pubs are a bit expensive. Within walking distance to all the shops etc.
Parking is inadequate, plus you may not have access to your car and the room was a little small.

"Excellent, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I'll be back "
Everything, from the welcome, friendly chat, to the clean rooms and super quality english breakfast. Tasteful modern decor, you don't see any mismatched flowered wallpaper, bedding and curtains like so many guesthouses and b&b's. Great location near to the promenade and pleasure beach.
I really can't say a bad word about our stay.

"Nice room, very short distance away from the pleasure beach which is good. Breakfast was brilliant for the day ahead cereal/fried breakfast"
Very large breakfasts, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Very close to the Pleasure Beach.
Water takes a very long time to warm up coming through the taps/shower.

We found the owners to very helpful and friendly. Whilst the room was small it was very clean. We found the hotel to be value for money and in a good location.
Unfortunately the bathroom didn't have any heating and was very cold. Also as the room was downstairs, the window looked out on to the hall! It wasn't until after the booking was confirmed on the web site that this was mentioned. Maybe this should be addressed by the web siteactive hotels.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't praise Angie and Allan enough. They were very friendly and offered a warm welcome on arrival. will be recomending all my family and friends to take a visit and will make a return visit ourselves."
It was extremely clean
There were a lot more stairs than we thought there would be to get to our room and my mum who is disabled found it a little challenging.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the wescoe. The staff were friendly helpful and genuine ! Good knowledge of blackpool was made readily available and advice given from staff."
I liked the cleanliness of the accomodation and the friendliness of the staff ! Made to feel totally welcome !
Television only had one chanel on it and even that had poor reception, one light didnt work either. However due to the limited time we were actually in the room we didnt feel these factors affected our stay in the slightest !

"The overall stay was very pleasant and we were made very welcome by the owners. Watson, the owners dog was a surprise. A lovely dog but I don't recall reading anywhere that a dog lived on the premises. My wife is an asthmatic and is partially allergic to animals but it didn't really bother us at all! The breakfast was excellent and the discount offer for re booking a room in the future is a nice touch. Unfortunately, right next door is a plethora of Police vehicles who were constantly off, sirens blazing, into the small hours of the morning. Obviously not the hotel's fault but this information would have been useful up front. The car park arrangement was very useful though! But, notwithstanding this, the overall experience was a good one."
Good sized room, comfortable bed.
Shower was too small or am I too big! The room was awash with light from outside making it difficult to sleep.Even with the curtains closed and the room lights out you could still still the far wall of the room!

"The Wescoe was the ideal place for our overnight stay. It was close to the Pleasure Beach and sea-front but far enough away from the main street not to be noisy. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the room had quite a modern decor. The bed was also very comfy ! I would definately recommend this hotel to my friends."
The accomodation weas clean and tidy. The room was a decent size and had nice decor. The place had a friendly atmosphere. The hotel was also in easy walking distance of the pleasure beach and the sea front.

"Warm and friendly welcome by the owners, who were very helpful in every respect, even down to the small things e.g.Angie even asked about storage of my wife's insulin as she is diabetic. The hotel was well decorated throughout, comfortable and very clean and the breakfasts were 1st class!!"
well decorated throughout, comfortable and v. clean
In summer months it could be an idea to have fans available in the warmer rooms near the top of the house, but give the hotel their due we didn't think of this till after we left.

"this b and b is a typical b and b, no airs or graces, what you get is what you see. overall a clean, friendly base for a stay in blackpool. wouldnt recommend it particularly, not because there was anything wrong with it, just that you could get the same around the corner for a little bit cheaper around "
close to amenities, very clean room, staff very friendly
nothing to dislike
