"Overall things were comfortable, as non tea and coffee drinkers other beverages in the rooms would have been appreciated, space was minimal, but as it was only an overnight stop this was not too much of a problem."
ease of access to where we were meeting friends

"our first night was awful. there was an incident involving another room. at midnight a group of drunk adults entered there room either above or to the side of ours. for 3hours they were extremely noisy, swearing, banging doors. we called reception 3 times and nothing was done about it. my 4year old son awoke plus I had a very important interview the next morning. Not a good start. We had travelled 3hours to get to the hotel."
clean and airy. good bathroom facilities.
no lift. had pushchair and suitcase. a number of stairs and we were only on the first floor.

Hotel just off M1,easy to find and good access to Leeds,York and Harrogate. Excellent breakfast and dinner, staff very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable if a little small.
Room a little on the small size. Long walk up and down stairs and along cold corridors to room, could be a problem for elderly visitors.

"There was no internet access in the room that I was allocated, despite the hotel claiming that internet access was available throughout the hotel. The Receptionist advised me that they were experiencing difficulties with certain rooms but did not have the accurate information as to which rooms did/did not have internet access. I was moved to an alternative room and was lucky !"

Nothing
Long way to room, cold, shabby, noisy heating which didn't work very well, hairdryer didn't work, terrible smell near leisure club, pool cold, pool area dirty, toilets in leisure club extremely dirty.

"On arrival the receptionist was unhelpful and a little rude if I am perfectly honest. The bar & dining room staff however were brilliant and very friendly and helpful. The design of the accommodation units look similar to prison blocks which does not help, nor the size of the cells, sorry rooms. Windows only open a little - more of a prison. The bathroom was in need of a good clean and had hairs in the bath."
Rooms too small, inadequate ventilation, dirty bathroom, carpets

"It would have been nice to have a local directory to include the availability of churches in the area and the closest garage and shops. We were most impressed with the courtesy shown by the staff and the standard of the food."
Car security was excellent. Tea/coffee facilities were also excellent.
At one point it was noisy because of children playing.

"Our stay was very plesant, our room was fantastic with all the right facilities. The tv had lots of free channels and the bed was so comfortable!! check out isnt until 12 which is good but breakfast was a bit expensive so we didnt have any. The hotel itself was close enough to Leeds city centre for a cheap taxi journey and if you dont want to eat at the hotel theres a nice restaraunt across the road which we went to. Will definatley be staying again in the near future but this time we will take swimming and gym clothes as we didnt realise they had these facilities!!"
It was comfortable and spacious.Perfect
Not much, perhaps the prices of drinks and food were a little high

"The staff were lovely and happy to help. Although the hotel was obviously busy this did not detract from service in the bar or restaurant and I didn't have to wait to check in or out. The pool was lovely. The food on the carvery system was just vile - a wierd mixture of cold foods on the buffet which had clearly just been opened from tubs/packets and thrown onto plates eg smoked mackeral and crab sticks. The hot component was sitting around congealed and unappetising and at £19.95 for 3 courses this was just way too much for a very inadequate meal. Breakfast was better, the hot breakfast wasn't too greasy although the scrambled and fried eggs were all overdone. I'd say stay there but don't eat there unless you have to."
Very friendly, helpful staff, adequate sized room, no noise.
The food at dinner carvery was awful and expensive.
