Small carpark with a parking charge, internet did not work AND we were charged £5.99 x 4 hours for it!! Air conditioner was difficult to operate.

"Stay was fine but the small things as stated in the summary of the bad points do mae a lot of difference. I stayed at the ramada as it was a star higher than hotels like IBIS where ive stayed before cheaper but the ramada was no better, in fact a little worse. Room service was too limited to certain items. It would have been nice to get full breakfast in bed offered for a 3 star not continental. I wouldnt stay in hotel again as although it was ok, it was not any better that a travel inn so i would pay a little lss and stay somewhere like that or a little more and get more like a 4star service."

too stuffy/warm in room and not able to open a window even a little. If booked on line, took ages for booking in as details not on system. Only 2 tea bag and 2 sugars ever left? theses are not expensive and most people have sugar.

"It was another good experience although the rate was £20 higher than the last time. The staff are all nice and helpfull, nothing seems to be a problem to them. The room was spacious and well appointed with a good selection of toiletries. The location of the hotel is very close to Chinatown, where you can have the pick of the best in Manchester."

The hotel is in the perfect location for all amenities. The head lady in charge of the breakfast staff was superb with her staff and very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was welcoming. The doormen were charming.
Rooms near the lifts are noisy due to inconsiderate guests.

Excellent, friendly staff who were very approachable.
In the suite we stayed in there was no fridge/mini bar which was esential after a long day in the sun and shopping.

fire escape routs were patly blocked with furniture,sound equipment etc.this was during a fire alarm when we stayed,we were on the 14th floor and not happy to find this stuff in the fire escape corridor,it was reported to staff!!!!!

Very good location for city facilities
Check in was chaotic and the staff very rude. Oasis were playing at Heaton Park that week end and we were not able to check in to our rooms on time. We were met by rude stressed out staff, surely major hotels are meant to be able to cope with a high volume of guests. We paid a premium price for a city hotel but the service was terrible and as a result we were late for the concert. This was my birthday week end and the check in and poor service really did spoil it for my friends and I. We stay in a lot of hotels and would love to visit Manchester again, the hotel was ideally located but the service we recieved would really make me think twice about booking here again.

"I did enjoy my stay as it was convenient for my purpose of being in Manchester however due to the prices and room type I am not sure that it would be my first choice next time."
Local to shops, bars, restaurants and bus station
Room appeared to be a family room so had another door in the centre of the room. Unfortunately due to this the walls were thin which meant that we could hear the voices from the next room quite well, and did keep us awake. The bar/restaurant prices were very expensive. Also I did not realise that we had to pay to use the hotel's own carpark which was very expensive per night.
