    "Definitely would come back again!"

I believe that the hotel is value for money. It has a strategic location and a great team.

I didn't find anything too awful. The carpets could be a little cleaner.

    "Good value and central location."

Pleasantly surprised by atmosphere of hotel and room, receptionist very friendly and helpful, central location - access to rail and bus stations.

    Central location

The place needs a renovation. Also, I felt like it had not been cleaned thoroughly for a long time, even if on the surface the room was clean.

"Entrance was unattractive, but reception a nice surprise. Receptionist efficient but not welcoming. Room pleasant but rather airless on a hot day. "

    Efficient, clean,amenable

Room service breakfast order had no price attached and was limited. No teaspoons in bedroom and limited tea, milk, sugar.

We did not stay in the hotel. We checked the rooms and decided the place too is bad a condition to stay in.

Small rooms, badly litted corridors and badly furnished and untidy rooms. Staff attitude was pretty bad as well.

    "It was fine."

Very central and near Piccadilly Station. Comfortable. Decent breakfast.

The only one was the absence of teabags in the room!

    "Again very pleasant"

Hotel was central to everything, clean and friendly.

The hotel looked very run down. Light and neon sign on the front of the hotel not working. Bathroom was scruffy and uninviting. Generally looked very shabby - for example the lampshade by the bed had a hole in it. Not good security wise as it is possible to access the lift and stairs to the guest rooms without going through reception which meant anyone could just walk in off the street. Being in the centre of Manchester and as a lone female traveller I did not like that.

"if I visit this hotel again, I hope that somebody mans the lift, as it is at the front of the hotel, out of site of reception, and anybody can come in! "

    good location

customers screaming their heads off at 1.30 in the morning, and again at 5.30 am. shower water going hot and cold plug in basin not working

Good access to the city centre and the public transport, reasonable price

Room light was a bit dark, door to the bathroom was broken not closed.

"Although the hotel was no smoking the foyer smelt of smoke! Overall, i was not impressed with the hotel. "

The bathroom was clean and tidy and looked like it had been recently decorated.

The room was very dark. The bed was in the wrong position so you were unable to see the tv when in bed. I moved the bed to the opposite wall which revealed dirty carpets, a rickety old cupboard that nearly fell apart, a bedside table lamp that was broken and only balanced on the base showing all the electric cables! This i reported as i left as a health and safety hazzard. Also, the black filth around the base of lamp looked like it had never been cleaned. The picture on the tv was poor. The room itself looked tired, old and dirty.

"The room was tidy, quiet, cheap between two people and pleasent to stay in. Breakfast, on the other hand, was outrageously expensive for half an english breakfast, most of which was tinned."

    Cheap, tidy, no frills etc.

    £8.00 for breakfast!

Very friendly staff and a lovely shower

Main light missing from room and view from window a huge hole filled with lots of litter surrounding

"We didnt spend much time in the room and you wouldnt want to. but it served its purpose as somewhere to sleep.I would try a different hotel next time"

The service was fine and the downstairs of the hotel looked modern and clean

Rooms were small dingy and in bad need of decorating and modernisation, because of the quality of the room it put us off eating at the hotel so we went out. The worry was if the rooms are like this what is the kitchen like. The Tv had a very poor signal so wasnt worth watching.
