"Great hotel and great location, just 2 minutes walk from the town centre and beach. Parking’s a bit tight so get there early."

Room was bright and airy, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely.

    "An excellent place to stay."

The staff were very helpful, friendly and made me feel welcome. I would happily use the hotel again if I was in the area.

Only bad point was the freeview lost its sound on the first evening, but fine after.

"Hotel was great although more of a Guest House than a Hotel and as such thought the price was fractionally on the high side for what was on offer. Breakfast brill; Owners/staff ultra-friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble; Bathroom was small not really for the larger person but functional and bedroom/communal areas were kept very clean at all times. Good selection of tourist information booklets in the reception area and owner/staff have excellent local knowledge should you have further queries. Bournemouth has a number of rather steep hills and this hotel is one of the more accessible amongst them although it should be noted that there was not much to do near the hotel in the evenings if you didn't want to make another trip back down the hill into town. However, as we were leaving we did notice 'coming soon' signs for a carvery bar and Italian restaurant opposite so hopefully this situation will improve then. "

Excellent staff - very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great too.

Was lead to believe there was a bar-lounge facility for guests to mingle in during the evenings. I was travelling with my mother who is in her 60s and there wasn't much to do nearby for food/drink of an evening unless you wanted to travel into the centre of Bournemouth which was a little 'young' for my Mum. Bathroom was small but functional. Only terrestrial TV channels were available.

"The hotel is in a great location with most attractions within easy walking distance. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Our room was at the back of the hotel which was very quiet and peaceful. The room had everything we needed, including complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits. The only slight complaint was that the bathroom was small but really this didn't spoil the enjoyment of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended."

Excellent location for the beach, shops, restaurants and concert halls. Spotlessly clean.

    Bathroom was very small.

The location was good, although it is not immediatly on the coast; it was near. The hotel was quite and I relaxed before my meeting which was crucial to me.

only one pillow per person, tv was a bit dated and could have done with more tea, coffee and milk for the price paid.

    "See above"

Staff were friendly and the location was close to many of the mains tourist attractions.

Could have a bigger selection of food at breakfast for those who do not want the full english breakfast. For example some rolls or fresh fruit.

"Multimap was slightly coy reagarding the exact position of the hotel but this only held me up for a few minutes! Check-in smooth, parking OK, room clean and fully functional - also contained 3 beds just for little old me!. Good nights sleep, didn't try the breakfast but it smelt OK. Would certainly consider staying again in the future."

Excellent location for the BIC, reasonably easy to find, would have liked to have had more time to read the signed Terry Sherringham autobiography!!!

    All was adequate
